Zip-Chem D-5907NS Multi-purpose Grease is a synthetic diester lubricant that has been corrosion inhibited and heavily fortified to resist oxidation and thickened with Microgel (R). D-5907NS is ideally suited for general aircraft lubrication. It combines a wide useful temperature range of -100 to +300° F. with extremely high moisture resistance. D-5907NS satisfies nearly all grease requirements on aircraft. Can cut grease inventory appreciably. A short fiber grease with a high melting point that makes for exceptionally high mechanical stability. D-5907NS utilizes Aeroshell 7 grease with a new environmentally acceptable non ozone depleting propellant system. The aerosol permits application in hard to reach areas with this advanced multi-purpose grease. D-5907NS can be used as a replacement for molybdenum disulfide, in problem areas like the tailing edge flaps. Other applications are: general airframe lubricant, highly loaded gears, actuator screw mechanisms, instrument and all sliding and wiping surfaces with moisture entrapment problems.
